![]() She was shot down by HMS Agamemnon on and crashed into the Vadar river swamps near the mouth of the river. LZ55 was transferred to the German military service on 12 October 1915 and the first raid was against Dunaburg, Latvia and then bombing raids on Minsk, the railroads of Riga and Salonika (Thessaloniki, Greece). LZ85 or LZ55 was built at Potsdam in 1915, she was produced as LZ55 but given the designation as LZ85 for military service. Provenance: Bernard (A.N.)
